ANNEXATION.
1-21.

Secs. 1-21 in the 1928 edition of Offutt's Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore
County are included in Appendix to Article 4, Baltimore City, as they apply more
particularly to Baltimore City at this time.

AUCTIONEERS.

1912, ch. 439, sec. 1. B. Co. C. (1916), sec. 1. 1928, sec. 22.

22. No person shall be entitled to engage in business as an auctioneer
in Baltimore County unless he shall have first taken out a license as herein-
after provided.

23. It shall be the duty of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of said county
to issue auctioneer licenses to such persons as may apply for and be enti-
tled to them under this subtitle, and according to the conditions and pro-
visions of this subtitle, the amount so received from said license to be
paid to the School Commissioners of Baltimore County, to be credited
by them to the school fund of said county.

24. Each applicant for such a license shall pay the yearly sum of ten
dollars ($10) if he be a resident of said county; the sum of twenty-five
dollars ($25) if he be a resident of the State outside of said county; and
the sum of fifty dollars ($50) if he be not a resident of the State; and
no license shall be issued by said Clerk of the County to any such person
until the aforesaid license fee has been paid and until such person has
made oath as to his place of residence.

25. Every person conducting a sale in violation of Section 22 of this
subtitle shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof
shall be fined not less than ten dollars nor more than fifty dollars, in the
discretion of the Court.

38. The Board of County Commissioners for Baltimore County, at
the time of the annual tax levy for the year 1923, and for each succeeding
year thereafter until this Act is repealed, are hereby authorized, directed
and required to make a special annual levy of such amount as may be
