CHAPTER 61
(Senate Bill 271)
AN ACT concerning
Prohibition Against Holding More Than One Office - Exception
FOR the purpose of creating an exception to the constitutional prohibition against
certain executive, legislative, and judicial branch personnel holding more
than one office of profit or trust to allow them to be members of reserve
components of the armed forces of the United States or members of the militia of
the United States or this State; and submitting this amendment to the qualified
voters of the State of Maryland for their adoption or rejection.
