TITLES OF THE RESOLUTIONS.

No. 1. Joint Resolution to authorize and direct the State
Librarian to purchase a Supplement to the Code for distribu-
tion among the Justices of the Peace of the State.

No. 2. Joint Resolutions relating to the Naval Academy.

No. 3. Joint Resolution authorizing the State Librarian to
subscribe for two hundred and fifty copies of the Digest of the
Decisions construing the Statutes of Maryland, by Charles F.
Mayer and Lewis Mayer.

No. 4. Resolutions in reference to the death of Hon. Ed-
ward Everett.

No. 5. Resolutions ratifying an amendment to the Consti-
tution of the United States of America, proposed by Congress
to the Legislatures of the several States.

No. 6. Resolutions requesting our Senators and Represen-
tatives in Congress to use their utmost endeavors to prevent
the passage of such a law imposing a tax on leaf Tobacco.

No. 7. Resolution in reference to the pay of Committees of
the Senate and House of Delegates, during their absence from
the regular sessions.

No. 8. Joint Resolution relating to a subscription by the
State to the publication of the English Statutes in force in
Maryland, according to the report of the late Chancellor
Kilty, to the Legislature.

No. 9. Joint Resolution authorizing the Librarian to sub-
scribe for two hundred and fifty copies of Cohen's and Lee's
Digest of the Decisions of the Court of Appeals.

No. 10. Joint Resolution to Congress remonstrating against
granting a charter to make a Railroad through Maryland.

No. 11. Joint Resolution abolishing the sixth section of the
