Laws of Maryland of 1922.

MARYLAND, Sct.:

At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, begun and
held in the City of Annapolis, on the Fourth day of
January, 1922, and ending on the Third day of April,
1922, the Honorable Albert C. Ritchie being Gov-
ernor of the State, the following Laws were enacted,
to wit:

CHAPTER 1.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Somerset County to levy one thousand dollars
($1, 000) for remodeling and improving the public school
building at Jacksonville in said county, and to authorize
and direct the County Board of Education to expend the
money appropriated for this purpose.

(Vetoed. )

CHAPTER 2.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 79 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland of 1920, entitled "An Act to provide
for the issuing of bonds by the Mayor and City Council of
Frostburg for the purpose of enlarging the present water sys-
tem and for obtaining an increased water supply for the
citizens of Frostburg, Maryland. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 79 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland in 1920, entitled "An Act to provide for the
issuing of bonds by the Mayor and City Council of Frostburg
for the purpose of enlarging the present water system and for
obtaining an increased water supply for the citizens of Frost-
burg, Maryland, " be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act is hereby declared
to be an emergency law and necessary for the immediate pres-
