1652                             Joint Resolutions

Resolved, That the Governor of the State of Maryland be requested
to appoint a joint committee of the Maryland State Senate and the
House of Delegates for the purpose of studying first, the question of
a State bonus; second, ways and means of financing such and under-
taking; third, the establishment of a State Veterans' Home for dis-
abled veterans, their widows and dependents; and fourth AND
THIRD, a review of existing State services to Maryland veterans and
their dependents; and be it further

Resolved, That the committee shall consist of six (6) members of
the Senate of the State of Maryland, ten (10) members of the House
of Delegates, and two (2) members from each of the major Veterans'
organizations in the State of Maryland (said latter members to be
named upon recommendation of their respective State or Department
Commanders); and be it further

Resolved, That the committee shall report back to the Governor
prior to the convening of the 1958 regular session of the State
Legislature; and be it further

Resolved, That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the
Governor of the State of Maryland.
