General Assembly of Maryland

NOTE

Forty-five bills were vetoed by the Governor of Maryland follow-
ing the 1972 Regular Session of the General Assembly. Fourteen of
these bills originated in the Senate of Maryland, and 31 of the bills
originated in the House of Delegates.

Following the provisions of Section 17 of Article II of the Con-
stitution of Maryland, all vetoed bills must be referred to the House
in which they were introduced immediately after that House has
organized at the next regular or special session of the General
Assembly, for reconsideration.
